The International Montessori School (IMS) is Hong Kong’s first through-train, accredited bilingual Montessori school, catering to nearly 1,000 children up to age 14 across four campuses on Hong Kong Island.

Chinese learning
Every classroom across all grade levels is guided by two teachers – one communicating exclusively in English, the other exclusively in Mandarin – providing continuous bilingual exposure. Elementary and middle school students also receive 45-minute small-group Mandarin lessons daily, tailored to their level.
Subjects offered at secondary
IMS Middle School is designed as an interdisciplinary programme, integrating multiple subjects through project-based learning modules. Subjects include: Chinese, civics, design tech, economics, English, geography, history, maths, performing and visual arts, science and entrepreneurship.
