Message from the Principal
Tim Richardson, incoming principal of Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong (NAISHK)

At Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong (NAIS Hong Kong), we believe that strong relationships between parents, students, and teachers are the foundation of a thriving school community. As Principal, I see it every day in the way our teachers engage with students, in the conversations we have with parents, and in the shared commitment to each child’s growth. We foster these connections through open communication, regular feedback, and inclusive events that bring our community together. When everyone understands their role and feels heard, we create a culture of trust and collaboration that benefits every learner. Preparing students for success means more than delivering a curriculum — it’s about nurturing curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning. At NAIS Hong Kong, we focus on helping students make meaningful connections across subjects, encouraging them to see the relevance of what they’re learning and how it applies to the world around them. We also place a strong emphasis on wellbeing, knowing that when students feel supported and confident, they are more engaged and motivated. Our goal is to help every student understand their progress, take ownership of their learning, and develop the skills they need to thrive — both now and in the future.
