Summary

Anchors Academy is a through-train institution committed to STEAM education from kindergarten to Junior Secondary. The school follows the UK’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) at Kindergarten (Pre-Nursery – K3), and the English National Curriculum and Hong Kong curriculum in the Primary years.

The newly launched Junior Secondary (Years 7–9) extends this K-12 pathway, blending the UK National Curriculum (Key Stage 3) with Hong Kong curriculum elements, leading towards IGCSE and A-evel qualifications at the Senior Secondary level, delivered in partnership with St Bees (Anchors) Sixth Form College Hong Kong (subject to EDB approval).

The Kindergarten, Primary and Junior Secondary divisions offer bilingual learning with English and Mandarin, plus French as a third language. Anchors aims to foster students’ curiosity, creativity and personal and social development. STEAM education is integrated into all subjects, facilitating exploration and project-based learning across every stage.

After-school activities
A variety of activities are on offer in Pre-Nursery – K3, including creative arts, fencing and Little Chef cooking. At primary and junior secondary levels, the after-school programme includes computing, performing arts, sports, STEAM, AI robotics and team training.
